Happy Halloween From Pea Pod

Boston Terrier in Pea Pod Costume

I hate the hat!

Yesterday I gave out candy to the Trick-or-Treaters. My costume was a pea pod. My mom made me this costume because I like to eat the veggies from our CSA. My favorite is beets, so I don’t know why she made me a pea pod. My mom is so dumb sometimes. Did you check out this stupid hat too. I hate wearing hats. I had fun giving out candy and we have a whole year to plan what I am going to be for next Halloween.

Vegas Goes on a Cross Country Road Trip?

Stuffed Boston Terrier on Car Dashboard

Check me out!

A few weeks ago my Mom and Dad went on a cross country road trip. They left Pennsylvania for California and came back. They didn’t take me with because I don’t like driving in the car. But they did take along this reject stuffed animal Boston Terrier that my grandma made. While you might not think the stuffed animal is a reject at first sight, well the right ear is on backward. However, my Mom thinks that is just “character.” They took pictures of my “avatar” at many of the various different places on their trip. Needless to say, overall I wasn’t happy that they left and I am glad they are back.

2011… Here We Come

31 12 2010

Looking back! Puppy picture! I am so big now!

It’s been a while since I have posted. Mom hasn’t let me on the computer very much. She’s been using it to check our Etsy store and so consequently I haven’t been able to post. Christmas was great. I got 4 toys, treats and a new water dish. I destroyed one of my toys within 5 minutes of getting it I also got a cool ball, a Gogh Nut and a Kong.

I hope everyone has a  Happy New Year. 2011 should be filled with many great and wonderful things:

  • This blog and I will be going on 3 years old in 2011.
  • I hope to do a lot more modeling for Happy Dog Clothes. I get paid in treats and boy are they good.
  • My resolution for the new year is to be really good. I am hoping my mom will spoil me more if I am extra good.

I also wanted to thank all my readers for taking the time to read my blog when I do post. Stay tuned for 2011. I have no idea what will happen next!

Post-Thanksgiving Update

Resting with my Dad and Sheep Toy

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. My Mom and Dad went out of town while I went up to my Great Grandmas. It was pretty cool I got to spend time with lots of people. I ate some mashed potatoes as a Thanksgiving treat. I also destroyed two toys a new toy given to me by my friends Scout and Dodger and my Everlasting Gobstopper (it’s like a colorful ball). My mom said she might have to get me a Gough Nuts toy since I chew so vigorously.

My Mom and Dad came home on Saturday so I got to spend some time over the weekend with them. I was very happy to see them because I missed them a lot and hopefully they will replace the two toys I destroyed ASAP!

Boston Terrier Carved Pumpkin Lit

Here's my pumpkin lit up.

Yesterday was trick-or-treat in my neck of the woods. So I got on my costume and gave out candy to the kids and a few dog treats to some of the dogs that came with their families. This year I ended up being Nibbler from Futurama. My mom crocheted my costume for me and she made a Brain Slug head band for herself to match me. We also ended up making a Boston Terrier Jack-o-Lantern in my honor. Overall it was a fun night. This year it was a little bit colder than last year so that was really the only down side.

Don't I look so cute!

Check out my Everlasting Gobstopper!

Happy Birthday to me! Happy Birthday to me!

So today I turned 2 years old. My birthday festivities consisted of a Birthday Morning Walk, an Afternoon Birthday Nap, my birthday present was an everlasting gobstopper, birthday treats and playing with my bouncy ball in the backyard. It was a great day. I got to do a lot of my favorite things. It was definitely one of the best birthdays I have ever had. Vegas’s Halloween Costume Sneak Peak

7 08 2010

I know it is early to talk about Halloween but here is the deal, last year my mom dressed me up in a Squirrel costume for Halloween. We live in the city so it’s customary on Halloween to just sit on the porch and hand out candy. So I sat on the porch with my mom and gave out candy. All the little kids loved my costume. My parents love the show Futurama and last year they really wanted to dress my up as the character Nibbler. This year my mom took some initiative and did some research to make me this costume.

Thankfully she found the site Hook and Needles which features instructions on how to Crochet a Nibbler doll. My mom seems to think that the doll clothes will probably fit me so she will eventually try to make the Nibble clothes from the Hook and Needles site. My mom is also going to coordinate and make a Brain Slug head band for herself to wear on Halloween.

So I am really excited for my Halloween costume. Now my mom just has to make it, so far all she has is green yarn to make brain slugs. Hopefully she will get it done in time.

Have A Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

28 05 2010

I hope everyone is excited for the long weekend. I don’t have any extra special plans but extra time with Mom and Dad at home is always great. Memorial day is the day when most pools public and private are open for business. So to kick of the summer season I have some great Boston Terrier Television to get everyone in the mood. Check out these swimming and diving Boston Terrier. I still have a long way to go on my swimming lessons. I took my first swim Labor Day Weekend in my Great Grandma’s pool.

A Boston Terrier playing Croquet

5 04 2010

I spent my easter up at my great grand Nan’s house. She lives way up in the woods and it is really great place for a dog to chew sticks, run (off leash) and roll around in the grass. After Easter dinner my mom set up Croquet. This is a pretty awesome game all these people hit these balls around so that I can chase after them. Here’s pictures of me winning at Croquet:
