This past Saturday I went to the last Boston terrier meet-up for the year. My mom has been slacking on taking me to meet-ups, so it’s about time! I met a bunch of cool Bostons, including this boy Boston named Bodie. Bodie had a big crush on me but I am not looking for a boyfriend. He was quite persistent and doesn’t take a hint. Can’t wait until April because that is when our meet-ups will start again! And hopefully by then Bodie will have moved on to someone else.

2010 Tailwagger’s Trot

Aren't we so cute?

This past Sunday I raised money for our local humane league by participating in the Tailwagger’s Trot. We walked about 1.5 miles and our walked ended in a local park where we enjoyed food, vendors, music and other activities.

I trotted with my pack called “Team Smoosh Face”.  Team Smoosh Face included Elijah (Boston Terrier), Ebony (Pug), Maliya (Pug) and Shelby (Rotti Mix). Shelby was a honorary smoosh face and we were glad to have her on our team. We had a lot of fun meeting a lot of different dogs. I even won a raffle. I got a spa weekend (grooming and a weekend of boarding) at the Canine Country Club. Not to mention everyone was handing out dog treats and a lot of attention.

I can’t wait for next year.

Playing With My New Friend Zeus, the German Shepherd

This weekend I got to play with my new friend Zeus, he’s a 6 month old German Shepherd puppy. His brother Joey doesn’t like to play a lot so I came over to play with Zeus. It was a lot of fun and made me super tired. Everyone (except my mom and dad) were afraid Zeus would pummel me. They don’t know what a tough Boston Terrier cookie I am.

Meet my Sister… Jaylynn

It’s been almost a year since I have last seen my sister. She was at A1 K9 Rescue with me and ended up being adopted before me because I wasn’t ready to be adopted because of my health problems. Jaylynn was adopted into a pretty large fur family she has 3 Pug sisters and a Boston Terrier brother.

Jaylynn’s Mom found my blog and contacted us via email. Turns out we don’t live too far away from each other now and we scheduled a play date. I go to dog parks often but Jaylynn hasn’t ever been to the dog park. So I think it was a little intimidating for her at first.  It was a lot of fun to see her again. I think we will end up playing again when it gets warmer out and maybe next time she will bring some of her brothers and sisters.

Missed the Boston Terrier Meetup Halloween Party

My mom stinks. She totally forgot that the Boston Terrier Meetup Halloween Party was this morning and ended up sleeping in. I am really mad I missed it. The agenda for the party was play with my Boston friends, costume parade and bobbing for hot dogs. The only consolation is that I will be able to wear my costume when we give out candy to the trick-or-treaters. I am posting a picture of my Halloween costume so that everyone can see how cute I would have looked.

So anyway, I hope that stanky Mom of mine figures out some way to make it up to me. I gave her an earful about my disappointment for not going to the party. I am posting a video to show you what it was like, even though this video was taken on a different day. You will get the idea.

If only there was a dog pool at the BT Meetup

I went to a Boston Terrier Meetup this past weekend. I had a lot of fun and I  got to hang out with a bunch of Bostons which is always great. My only complaint is the Meetup could use a doggie wading pool for me to relax and cool down in. September’s Meetup is cancelled but I am looking forward to October’s Meetup. There is a big halloween party planned for the October Meetup. I will keep you posted. I still haven’t decided what my costume should be. I have a couple of options Nibbler (from Futurama), a piggy, mummy or a dinosaur. I would welcome any suggestions on the topic.

My Mom and Dad took me to the dog park today. We had a really great time with all the dogs at the park. I love meeting new dogs and people. I made a lot of people muddy including my Mom and Dad. I got a bath when I got home to cool off and to clean up. I think it’s time for a nap.

Wednesday in the Park

Mom and Dad took me to the park today after daycare. It was a long walk but I enjoyed being out on such a beautiful day. We had to stop and get dinner. I was eyeing up the daily special but my mom said I couldn’t have any. Looks like it’s just chicken kibble for me.

My Thursday night play group has been cancelled until further notice. I guess with it being so nice out not many people are coming to play group. I will miss playing with all my friends.
